Mars 2021: African women in literature

The 8 mars, it will be the International Day for Women's Rights. I have symbolically chosen to seize this calendar opportunity to inaugurate my blog and present to you, in my first writings on this blog, African women in literature.

For this start, I propose to share with you my impressions of novels written by women, or stories of male authors highlighting women. It will also be a question of presenting you the biography of these women of letters..

The idea of blogging has always been in my mind, but the recent reading of the last high school student Goncourt, Impatient, by Djaïli Amadou Amal, made me finally make up my mind and do it during Women's Month.

This book revolted me, angry, both disgusted and happy for the success of the book, which I had the pleasure of meeting the author of at the Salon du Livre in 2017. I let you discover the stories of these beating women, courageous and creative!
